Automec's Backgauging Systems

The PC800 is a graphical control for Automec’s family of CNC backgauges that uses digital photos to make your pressbrake forming easier. The PC800 allows you to photograph your pressbrake tooling and bend sequences, and integrate them to your bending program. Multiple pressbrakes can share information with a simple windows network that you can set up yourself. It is available as a one, two, three or four axis control and can be connected to all Automec 24" and 48" backgauges.

The CNC4000 is a PC based CNC control for Automec backgauges. It has 10,000 job memory storage and a floppy disk for transferring data between multiple systems. It is available as a one, two or three axis control and can be connected to all Automec 24" and 48" backgauges, ram controls and programmable gauge bar height options.

The CNC300 control can be programmed as simple as our popular CNC150 or it can be programmed to utilize an array of sophisticated functions. These include a tool library, RS232 computer interface with software, automatic ram referencing, ram angle mode, backgauge reversal on pinch point, and a parts counter.

Our CNC150 is an economical, simple-to-use control that incorporates all of the most popular features requested by our customers over the 30 plus years we have been in the backgauging business. The CNC150 supports up to 3 axes of control: backgauge, ram & gauge bar height.

The CNC9x9 system is a simple-to-use 9 bend, single axis system that was developed as a low cost solution to be used with Automec’s series of backgauges for pressbrakes. The CNC9x9 is also offered as a control only upgrade kit to replace old G24 controls no longer serviced by Automec.
