The development of electric press brakes with spindle drive continues.   CoastOne Oy (Finland) has introduced the first machines of the new Bull series.

Two versions are now available:

Bull12 are 100 Ton press brakes with a bend length of 1300 millimeters, and Bull 15 are 150 Ton press brakes with a bend length of 1600 millimeters.

The lack of hydraulic oil eliminates expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves and maintenance expenses common to hydraulic press brakes.Hydraulic press brakes need oil and filter changes and inspections. They can have seal and line leaks, require oil disposal and have more frequent machine shut-downs. Also, due to oil viscosity fluctuations, you are more likely to create more scrap on hydraulic press brakes than on a direct-drive press brake such as CoastOne machines.
