Automec Control Upgrades

If you have a G24, CNC99, CNC1000 or CNC2000 with a mechanical structure that is still in good working condition you can upgrade your existing Automec backgauge control to a CNC 9×9, CNC 150, CNC 300, CNC 600 or PC 800.  We will need to know the serial number of your backgauge so we can configure the control correctly. Cables, mounting hardware, manual and ram switch provided. Please see brochures for more backgauge control technical specifications. Please know that CNC 99, 1000, 2000, and G24 controls are obsolete and no longer can be serviced if they fail. For more information on pricing and Tech specs, please contact us at 781-893-3403, press 1 or email sales@automec.com.

A picture is worth 1000 bends. Automec’s PC 800 is a graphical control for it’s family of CNC backgauges that uses digital photos and 2-D graphics to make your press brake forming easier.  PC 800 allows you to simply photograph your press brake tooling and ben sequences, and integrate them to your bending program. The PC based system uses a Microsoft Windows Pro-Win7-32Bit operating system which is familiar to most people and is seamless to network. Jobs can be programmed at the press brake or offline. Multiple press brakes can share information with a simple windows network that you can set up yourself. Files and folders with virtually infinite job and tooling storage are stored and sorted like any Windows equipped computer.  This control carries a 1 year warranty.

SQPLUS Front Gauge Control Upgrade Kit

(consists of control, cables, and top/bottom switch)

Programmable Frontgauging for Shears. CNC Squaregage is a precision front gauging system for power shears consisting of a digital control and 1, 2 or 3 mechanical drive units depending on the application. Each drive unit has a DC motor, amplifier, and encoder which permits independent movement. The drives are spaced so that the operator can stand between them and manually reposition the workpiece.  A removable squaring arm is located atop one of the drives.  The most popular and efficient system consists of a 10’ or 12’ squaring arm and two auxiliary 6’ drives. This control carries a 1 year warranty.

In/mm conversion Resolution at .001″
Parts counter Gauge Delay up to 9 seconds
300 job memory Inch/mm Conversion, yes
Job storage with up to 11-digit job number.
10 cuts per job.
Jobs can be linked together for larger programs.

Installation Requirements: AC Power Requirements: Automec gauging systems require 105 to 125VAC, 60HZ at 7 AMPS on an isolated line. If this power is not available a 2.0 KVA step down transformer should be used. Do NOT use pres brake control transformer. Supplying this power to the system is the end user responsibility.

Floor Anchoring:  Some Automec systems require anchoring to the floor. This function is not performed by the Automec installer and is the responsibility of the end user.
